Cool stay in a well located hotel.

Loved the hotel. Cool, well located, clean, great facilities and nice rooms. We booked a corner room with a bath - worth the extra money. Great space in the room and very quiet at night. Super close to the metro and plenty of good spots to eat and drink not far from the hotel.

Spacious space with great amenities and welcoming staff. Would stay again :)

The staff are awesome and really helpful. They always had someone that could speak fluent English at reception. 7/11 is literally next door and the train station is very close. The room we stayed in was spacious enough to have a coffee table and couch as well as a king sized bed with walking space to spare.

Not much to complain about. It is a very nice stay. Only thing is I wouldn’t recommend the beef burger.

Great room and hotel for couples stay

Great sized rooms, free coffee and tea in common lounge all day long, very nice staff

Breakfast is quite bad, 3 sandwiches (same every day), portion of fruit and salad, premade tea and coffee. We didnt like it and its not suitable for kids.

It’s stylish, welcoming, and full of energy — we would absolutely stay here again!

The Lively Osaka is truly a hidden gem! This hotel had fantastic energy — it was lively, modern, and perfect for travellers looking for a fun and comfortable place to stay. We were traveling with our 18- and 20-year-old children, and they absolutely loved the vibe. The bar, the free beer hour, and the DJ created a great social atmosphere that made it easy to relax and meet other travellers. We also really enjoyed the rooftop bar — the cocktails were excellent, and it was such a nice spot to unwind in the evenings. The staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us with booking airport shuttles and answering any questions we had throughout our stay. One major highlight was the room size. After staying in several more compact hotels on our trip, the generous, modern, and spotless rooms at The Lively Osaka were a real treat. The location couldn’t be better either — it’s central and within easy walking distance of many of Osaka’s main attractions. Overall, The Lively Osaka exceeded our expectations. It’s stylish, welcoming, and full of energy — we would absolutely stay here again!

The room layout is very funky. The bathroom is nice and clean. The hotel staff were very helpful getting our luggage forwarded. We opted for the vouchers instead of every day cleaning and enjoyed some drinks on the rooftop.

The bed is very small, a double bed for two large adults was a bit squishy.

Excellent value and the large rooms and beds a real bonus for Japan.

Modern boutique style hotel with excellent large rooms and good size beds. Location was more in a business district with not many restaurants near by, but a short taxi ride gets you to main shopping and restaurant areas. Train stations are close by. Free beer at Happy Hour was a nice touch. Friendly staff.

Breakfast menu was limited, so we actually went out for breakfast. Limited eating places in the area.

Amazing location, beautiful room, friendly staff. Everything was perfect. Free beer for an hour everyday was a great touch and the DJ’s were all actually really good. All the food was great too

Absolutely loved it, would stay again!

Loved our stay here! Super close to the train and about a 20 min walk to the main shopping/food strip. Hotel was very cool and loved the rooftop bar and the happy hour drinks. Rooms were a great size with everything you need. Thanks for having us!

This property was perfect! The amenities and facilities were more than we could’ve hoped for and the staff were very friendly. Check in was very easy and the accomodation location was GREAT with multiple convenience stores very close by, as well as a train station. The rooftop area was also a unique touch that we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you!

Nice and fun hotel. But could be a bit more calming I guess.

The hotel looks very nice and is comfortable. We loved that it had a separate toilet for this size room. Great shared area on the second floor. Restaurant was nice in the evening.

The breakfast I didn’t like so much. Would prefer a buffet or a menu with more choices. I think it was like 3 options? There was a door to the outside, in the restaurant (not the main entrance), where people came in and out. Which made it cold inside. The bed was too small for us. But that’s just a personal preference maybe. I think the hotel focuses on young people and therefore the music was a bit hyped up in the shared areas and I prefer a bit calmer music, so it’s more suitable for all types of people and things they’re using the areas for.

Stylish and mildy quirky, the central Lively Hotel was very comfortable

We stayed here only one night, but it was probably the nicest of our whole trip - the last of our trip. Great having a bar and the rooms were larger than usual for this style and price of hotel in Japan, and nice beds, spotlessly clean rooms. The bar and the rooftop view was great - interesting cocktails too - though we are not usually cocktail people. We were lazy on our last night and ate in the hotel restaurant and we very happy with the food at a very moderate price. Location is central, nearish to the castle, and the centre of town - though several metro stops from the shinkensen station.

No onsen-style public bath. We saw the marketing that the target age group was 20-30 and had a laugh as we are in the 65-70 bracket!

Great room in a good location (pity about the service)

The room was a good size - large by Japan standards Bed was comfortable Room was very clean Great shower Lots of small cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Mostly Japanese menus, waiters, etc but thankfully there is Google Translate Convenience stores all nearby Walking distance to metro/ subway station

Reception is located on the 2nd floor and is just underwhelming. Manned by young personnel - gives the impression that this is one of those trainee hotels (?) Similarly the front desk staff were underwhelming - I did not find them helpful or welcoming Very strict on check in time and reminded about the check out time again and again and again And reminded on the additional costs should we be a minute late from checking out!

Location was great. Metro is quite near. We walk to Dontonburi and takes us about 20 mins which is not bad because we get to check out the area along the way. Have really great restaurants nearby. Room is big enough for two of us and clean. Had everything we need. There is a coffee and tea lounge/work area which is good because my boyfriend needed some space to work. Overall, great stay.

Good place at good price.

Location was good with tons of convenience stores around. Had great customer service by Joe during check in, he helped us booked a affordable airport transfer for us (group of 8 family members).

The double rooms are abit too small to open luggages, had to move the sofa aside to get more space. Spatial design could be better.
